In this second service release, RES Software has added support for Microsoft Office 2010, a critical feature as more organizations make the move to the latest version of the Microsoft Office platform. The upgrade also includes more than 10 enhancements that help today’s IT professional save valuable time and money, including new User Settings Templates that make configuration of zero profile technology even easier.

RES PowerFuse provides a unique method for storing and applying user settings outside the user’s profile. The company’s zero profile technology automatically and instantly preserves and applies user settings, either for specific applications or settings at a global level.

With User Settings Templates, RES Software customers can now manage settings in the following applications: Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010, Microsoft Project 2003, 2007 and 2010, Microsoft Visio 2003, 2007 and 2010, Adobe Acrobat Reader 6, 7, 8 and 9, Adobe Reader 6, 7, 8 and 9, AOL Instant Messenger, FileZilla 2 and 3, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8, MSN Messenger 7.0 and 7.5, Microsoft Outlook Express, WinZip 9, 12 and 14, Yahoo! Messenger 7.5 and 8.0 and various Windows settings such as mouse, keyboard and regional and language options.
